Pierluigi grew up in the cheese business and at a very early age worked alongside his father and uncle to learn and understand not only cheesemaking but also how to run a cheese plant. Precocious and ever believing in his family’s cheese, he saw early on the market in the U.S. to introduce and educate people about the Fulvi Pec Romano and sheep’s milk cheeses in general, moving outside the traditional Italian markets to the specialty food industry. Working alongside Michele since 1993 they have made a “dynamic duo”.
