Neville McNaughton is the founder of CheezSorce, a consulting company working with Artisan and smaller scale cheesemakers across the USA. Neville is a graduate of Massey University in New Zealand with a Diploma in Dairy Technology. This applied science credential was the underpinning of his success as a cheesemaker in New Zealand and an owner and co-founder of Kapiti Cheeses Ltd. Cheesemaking is a passion and working with families and cheesemakers is something he looks forward to. A strong belief in sustainable agriculture and the role that dairying and cheesemaking can play in the grand plan of sustainability are strong motivators for the work he does. Working with cheesemakers on a daily basis he understands their challenges, as a result he has designed cheese vats and other pieces of cheesemaking equipment that make life easy and more effective. He is also acutely aware of the sanitation challenges of cheesemakers and works hard teaching and training cheesemakers in Best Practices.
